...I decided to ask my landlord.an older man named Walter if he might know of someway I could find some work, maybe around the apartment house,enough to pay the rent anyway. So after work one evening I called him and explained my situation. He told me to come see him and we could discuss what I might be able to basically avoid being evicted if it ever came to that. I went to see him later that evening and after ringing his doorbell, I stepped through the open door only to see Walter sitting in his recliner buck naked. I stood there speechless for I don't know how long before he spoke to me,asking me if I still wanted to make the rent...
